Tigers advance to World Series

Miguel Cabrera, Austin Jackson and Jhonny Peralta hit homeruns in the game. Peralta actually had two homeruns in the win. C.C. Sabathia went 3.2 innings giving up 11 hits and five earned runs for the loss.
The Yankees set a postseason record by hitting a measly .188. They were especially awful in the league championship series where they hit .157. Alex Rodriguez had two at-bats in the game failing to deliver a hit. There will be speculation all offseason to see if he sticks with the Yankees going forward.
The Tigers will play the winner of the Cardinals and Giants series. The Cardinals are up two games to one. The National League winner will have home-field advantage.
