Nets Win
The Nets defeated the Pistons in double overtime tonight by a score of 107-105. I caught the game when it got into the second overtime. Joe Johnson hit the game winning shot as time expired to end the game. Johnson finished with 28 points. Gerald Wallace had a big game with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
The Nets improved to 13-9 on the season while the Pistons dropped to 7-18. The Nets will be in Chicago tomorrow night to take on the Bulls.
In baseball news, it appears the Mets are on the verge of trading R.A. Dickey. Rumors have him about to be traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. The Mets are trying to get hitting prospects so we’ll wait to see if/when the trade happens.
I’d also like to send my thoughts and prayers to the families and victims of the horrific school shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut today.
