Nets fall to Lakers

The Brooklyn Nets lost to the Los Angeles Lakers last night in Brooklyn by a 92-83 score last night. The backcourt of Deron Williams and Joe Johnson failed to show up again as they combined for 26 points on nine field goals made. You really have to wonder when these two are ever going to show up this season.

Brook Lopez had a monster game with 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Nets. He added three blocks as well. The team got nothing from the bench as they managed 14 points. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 21 points and Steve Nash had 17.

This was the Nets first loss against a team with a record under .500. The Nets dropped to 28-20 on the season while the Lakers improved to 23-26. The Nets will be in Detroit tonight to take on the Pistons.
