Jets Season Ends
The Jets season finally ended last night mercifully by the Tennessee Titans. The Jets defense tried to keep the Jets in the game but Mark Sanchez turned the ball over five times in losing to the Titans 14-10. The Jets offense has been a train wreck all season outside of the opener. Hopefully the NFL won’t put the Jets on any prime time games next season.
Mark Sanchez has fallen so far it’s almost indescribable. I don’t see any way he plays in any games the rest of the season especially the home game this Sunday which I regretfully bought tickets to. Braylon Edwards looked good in his return and the running game worked well but Sanchez just can’t do anything correct right now.
If Rex Ryan has any heart he won’t play him again this year. It’s time to see what Greg McElroy can do. We are stuck with Sanchez next season but there should be no way he starts. They need to release Tim Tebow as well because they botched that acquisition beyond belief.
There are going to be changes once the season is over but it’s just a matter of what moves are made. They should draft all offense but perhaps sprinkle in a few linebackers. It’s sad to see the football season end with two weeks to go but it would have been criminal if they made the postseason.
