Jets Destroyed
An awful weekend of football finally ended today with the Jets getting blown out at home to the Dolphins. They lost 30-9 in a game that really didn’t seem that close. It’s amazing to me how awful this team is offensively but now it’s even affecting special teams.
Mark Sanchez was in his giving mode again throwing one pick and fumbling once. All the positive feelings built up from the last three weeks are completely gone. I don’t understand how a team can come out so flat.
I’m not a Tim Tebow fan but at this point why not put him in and see what happens? Sanchez is terrible and with the money tied up to him next year we’re stuck. The offensive line is pretty bad and the running backs are average at best.
The defense still can’t rush the passer in their fourth year under Rex. The only reliable asset we’ve had the last decade or so has been special teams and they were beyond awful today. The Dolphins pulled off an onsides kick and blocked a punt for a touchdown.
It was just an utterly disgusting display of football and I’m kicking myself for buying tickets to the game on December 23rd.
