Big football weekend
It’s a pretty big weekend for my favorite football teams this weekend. Rutgers is at home tomorrow against Kent State while the Jets are home to take on the Dolphins Sunday. Rutgers is currently unbeaten and ranked fifteen in the latest BCS polls.
They should beat Kent State rather easily. It would improve them to 8-0 on the season and right now it’s a huge game because Cincinnati is beating Louisville 24-17 in the fourth quarter. If Cincinnati can hold onto this lead, Rutgers would remain the only unbeaten team in the Big East. The game tomorrow is Homecoming so current NFL Scarlet Knights will beat the game. The game starts at 3:30.
The Jets play a big AFC East game against the Dolphins. The Jets are 3-4 on the season and they will be on a bye after this Miami game. The Jets defeated the Dolphins back in the third week of the season in overtime.
The team needs this week to go into the bye at 4-4 and 3-1 in the AFC East. They beat the Dolphins on the road and they’re playing better on offense and defense since their first win over Miami. It could be a messy game due to the hurricane coming in so whichever team can run the ball and not turn the ball over should win. The game is set for 1:00 pm.
